Bench 6.5 Truck Bed Tent

Same tent as the Bench 5.5, cut for the standard bed that most crew cabs leave the factory with, and with one addition that earns its keep.

The rear panel extends into an awning flap that sits out over the open tailgate on two poles, which turns the back of the truck into a dry porch. That is where the stove goes when it rains, and where most of the evening happens when it doesn't.

Everything else works the same way: a sleeve against the cab, a sleeve around the tailgate, straps into the stake pockets, nothing drilled.

It fits beds between 6 and 6.8 ft, which is the F-150, the Silverado and the Ram 1500 in their usual crew cab form. On a Ram, the RamBox option takes around six inches of width out of the bed and this tent will not fit over it.
